Hi! My name is Alyssa, and I'm so excited to have the opportunity to be teaching at Dance Evolutions again this year. I've been dancing since I was 9 years old, and have loved it ever since I slipped on my first pair of ballet slippers. I've been very blessed to have the opportunity to train through my teen years under great teachers, attend summer intensives, and was offered an apprenticeship position with a professional company. However, the highlight of all the amazing opportunities I've been given has been to teach dance; from teaching ballet in a refugee camp in Iraq to walking into a classroom at Dance Evolutions, helping others grow, master new dance skills, and build their confidence is my passion!
I'm also incredibly blessed to have a fantastic, supportive husband who puts up with the trail of bobby pins, hair ties, and leotards all over the house and is incredibly patient when I'm telling him about the dance stuff I'm excited about. I am looking forward to another awesome year!!
